A Method for Battery Health Estimation Based on Charging Time Segment

The problem of low accuracy and convenience in the existing state health (SOH) estimation method for vehicle lithium-ion batteries has become one important problems electric field. This paper proposes an improved cuckoo search particle filter (ICS-PF) algorithm based on a charging time segment from equal voltage data to estimate battery status. Appropriate ranges segments are selected according law, meantime, collected as indicator establish corresponding relationship with capacity attenuation value. An traditional (PF) (CS) is proposed by enhancing step size discovery probability attenuation. result shows that this superior (CS-PF) method, maximum error less than 2%.
